Where It All Began
In 2012, in a small rural town in southern Brazil, Luiz Neves saw a gap that would shape his career: DSL internet wasn’t reaching the people who needed it most. New 2.4 GHz wireless technology could cover far greater distances, bringing connectivity to families and communities that had been left off the map.
Luiz studied the technology inside and out, started a small business, and completed his first installations. Demand grew fast.
The Birth of Full Wireless
In August 2013, Full Wireless was born. To take that step, Luiz had the backing of his father, who believed in the vision and made a significant investment to secure the SCM license from Anatel, Brazil’s telecommunications regulator, and build the infrastructure the business needed. It was the beginning of one of the largest wireless internet providers in the region.
Growing with the Technology
Luiz was hands-on through every generation of connectivity: from DSL to 2.4 GHz wireless, from 5.8 GHz to today’s fiber optic networks. The company didn’t just keep pace with that evolution. It helped drive it, bringing internet to remote neighborhoods, rural areas, and hard-to-reach regions.
The impact went beyond technology. Schools, hospitals, and government agencies gained reliable connectivity, opening the door to growth for entire communities.
A New Chapter in the United States
A conversation with a friend already living in the U.S. revealed a new opportunity: the major fiber optic expansion underway across America. With a decade of field experience behind him, Luiz decided to invest. In October 2022, NEVCOMM was founded.
NEVCOMM Today
In the United States, NEVCOMM serves as an infrastructure contractor for major general contractors and respected names in the industry across New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Florida:
- Fiber optic construction, splicing, and testing
- Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and underground construction
- EV charging station installation
- Concrete services and restoration
In Brazil, Full Wireless is rebranding as NEVCOMM Brazil, an internet service provider.
